Royalty on sales of hand-knitted garments

Several knitters ask if they can sell garments made from patterns from Berg of Norway and it is nice that my patterns are used and appreciated. The patterns are basically made and priced for private use . The work behind a pattern involves, among other things, idea development, test knitting, grading, photography, layout and publishing, in addition to costs related to operation.

I still want to accommodate hobby knitters who want to sell hand-knitted products. That's why I have established a royalty scheme . If you sell more than one garment based on my patterns during a year, you pay royalty via the online store. For each garment sold, one royalty unit is added to the shopping cart. Royalty is paid after the garments have been sold.

The scheme only applies to hand-knitting by private individuals. Commercial production or resale on a larger scale is not permitted.
