When Arcturus becomes visible in the northern night sky, it won't be long until spring and before we know it, the snow will give way to grass and flowers. Arcturus socks will keep your legs warm in winter, but can also be knitted in thinner yarns for milder temperatures.
The pattern has four sizes that can be knitted larger or smaller by changing the gauge. The sizes are only a guide, use measurements to find the correct size.
The pattern has two options for the toe and heel. It is fine to choose a different type of toe and heel than those described in the pattern, if desired.
Yarn suggestions: Sandnes Sisu / Drops Fabel / Mayflower 1 class. Other sock yarn with a length of approx. 175-210 meters per 50 g can also be used. The socks photographed in the pattern are knitted with Mayflower 1 class.
Yarn amount: For shoe sizes up to 38-39: Colour 1: 100 g. Colour 2: 50 g. For shoe sizes above 38-39, 50 grams to grams of Colour 2 may be needed.
