Bellatrix socks are warm wooly socks knitted in a traditional Norwegian design. The socks have the same pattern as Bellatrix mittens and the name is after Bellatrix, the third brightest star in the constellation of Orion, which marks Orion’s left shoulder.
The pattern has four sizes. Sizes are approximate, use measurements to find the right size. Sizes can be changed by knitting with different gauge, for example 24 or 26 sts in 10 cm. Gauge is changed by using thicker/thinner yarn and/or needles.
The pattern has two alternatives for heel and toe. If desired, other heel and toe designs may also be used.
