Mountain sun mittens

The Fjellsol mittens are warm winter mittens, knitted in a traditional Norwegian design.

The pattern has a size that can be knitted larger or smaller by changing the gauge.

There are two options for the cuff, ribbed and with patterned knit.

Yarn suggestion: Rauma 3-ply knitting yarn / Dale Lanolin Wool / Sandnes Smart. Other yarns can be used. Choose yarn that gives the desired gauge.

Yarn amount: Color 1: 100g. Color 2: 50 g.

Needle suggestion: 5 double pointed needles size 3 mm.

Gauge: 26m per 10 cm.

Sizes: One size, see measurements. Can be adjusted.

Measurements in cm: Length Rib cuff: 8.5-9 Length pattern cuff: 6.5 Across pattern cuff: 10.5 Across mitten blade: 11-11.5 Full length: 30 Thumb from base to tip: 7-7.5 . For other sizes, adjust gauge.
