Gemini is a well-known constellation in the night sky. The giant star Pollux is the brightest star in the constellation and the closest neighbor to its twin Castor. In Greek mythology, the two were twins, but had different fathers. One was immortal while the other was mortal, but they were always together, like their namesakes in the sky.
The pattern of the Pollux socks shows Pollux in the center, always together with his not quite as bright, but equally beautiful twin.
The pattern has four sizes that can be knitted larger or smaller by changing the gauge.
The pattern also has two options for the toe and heel. You can choose a different type of toe and heel than those described in the pattern, if desired.
