Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. It actually consists of two stars, one of which is a white dwarf. The Sirius socks also have two different stars and are knitted in Two-tone patterned knit with traditional Norwegian pattern.
The pattern has two options for ankle. Straight ankle has the same number of stitches on the entire ankle. Wide ankle begins with a few extra stitches that are decreased along the way to make the ankle narrower towards the heel.
The pattern also has two options for the toe and heel. It is fine to choose a different type of toe and heel than those described in the recipe, if desired.
The recipe has four sizes that can be knit larger or smaller by changing the gauge. The sizes is only a guide, use measurements to find the correct size.
Yarn suggestions: Sandnes Sisu / Drops Fabel / Viking Frøya. Other sock yarn with length of approx. 175-210 meters per 50 g can also be used. The socks that are pictured in the pattern is knitted with Viking Frøya.
