People started cultivating grain as far back as in the Stone Age and it did not take long before it became our most important source of food. Throughout the ages, grain cultivation has contributed to creating civilization and shaping cultures. Today, various types of grain are grown on a large scale all over the world. Every autumn, the grain ripens in the fields and farmers prepare for harvesting what will become everything from animal feed, Christmas cakes, bread, beer and cinnamon rolls.

Harvest hat is a tribute to the grain and to the farmers who grow it. The pattern shows a ripe wheat field where time to harvest is just around the corner.
