Snowhearts Mittens

Warm mittens with a heart and snowflake pattern, inspired by elements in traditional Norwegian knitting. The mittens are suitable for both everyday and special occations, and the pattern is the same as on the Snowhearts socks.

The pattern has a size that can be adjusted by changing the gauge. The cuff can be knitted in a regular or long version. The long version is suitable for those who want to fold the cuff double or who want to be able to pull the mittens up their arms a little, so that they warm well during activities where the jacket tends to slide up a little, for example on a bike ride.

Gauge is changed by changing to thicker or thinner yarn and needles.

Yarn suggestions: Sandnes Sisu / Gjestal Silja Sock / Drops Nord. Other yarns can be used. Choose yarn that gives the desired gauge.

Yarn amount: Color 1: 100g. Color 2: 50 g.

Needle suggestion: 5 double pointed needles size 2.5 mm. Another needle size may be appropriate if the desired gauge is not achieved with the suggested needle size.

Gauge: 32-33 sts per 10 cm.

Sizes: One size. Can be adjusted.
