Spacetime cowl

The Spacetime cowl is a tribute to Albert Einstein’s contribution to theoretical physics and it is a perfect match to the Spacetime hat.

The motifs are related to Einstein’s theories of general and special relativity, which combine the universe’s three space dimensions with the time dimension.

The pattern comes in one size that can be adjusted by using different gauge.

Suggested yarn: Fingering yarn. DSA Mini Sterk / Viking Liten Alpaca Storm / Sandnes Lanett / Drops Nord. Other similar yarn can be used. Choose yarn that gives desired gauge.
Suggested colours: It is recommended to use contrasting colours to make a clear pattern.
Yarn amount: Colour 1: 100 g Colour 2: 50 g.
Suggested needles: Short circular needle size 2,5 mm. Different needle sizes may be needed for different gauge or if you don’t hit gauge using recommended needle size.
Gauge: 30 (for smaller size, 32) sts = 10 cm in stranded colourwork with needle size 3 mm.
Sizes (circumference in cm): ca 58 (55 with gauge 32 sts)
Measurements in cm: Full length: approx. 30. Across when laid flat: approx. 28-29.
