A pattern for beautiful and warm socks inspired by one of space's many spectacular phenomena.
A supernova is an extremely bright, super-powerful explosion of a star. Supernova socks may not make your feet seen across universe but made in nice, cosy wool yarn, they will keep your feet warm. The pattern can be knitted in as many colors as you like and is a good opportunity to use leftover yarn. The round begins in the middle of the back, joining the pattern in the back of the ankle and under the foot.
The pattern has four sizes. Sizes are approximate, use measurements to find the right size. Sizes can be changed by knitting with different gauge.
To achieve desired gauge, it is recommended to knit a sample swatch. If the swatch has too many stitches in 10 cm, go up a needle size. If the swatch has too few stitches in 10 cm, go down a needle size.
